What is a serviced apartment?
An apartment, with maid service, plus a range of facilities and services depending upon each property. Each apartment will always have either a kitchen or kitchenette, which always includes a refrigerator, cooking and washing up facilities, plus utensils. An apartment will also have a private bathroom and/or shower. All rates are per apartment, per night unless otherwise stated. For reservations of longer than one month, discounts are nearly always available.

Is there a minimum stay?
Most serviced apartments have no minimum stay.

What can I expect from staying in an apartment?
An apartment nearly always provides more space and privacy. You may prepare meals or snacks at times that suit you, at prices that do not break the bank, ideal if you are bringing the family. If you are on business, then you will have your own work area and a private meeting place, away from eyes and ears! A serviced apartment offers a comfortable and relaxing stay in a home from home atmosphere, a place to put your feet up and relax after a busy day.

How do I know the quality of each apartment?
We can offer plenty of advice regarding the standard of the apartments we offer. Mansley Travel Apartments (International) Ltd. takes the time to review each property and carefully rates the quality according to a very detailed set of requirements. They do not necessarily reflect official categories, service provided nor price, but are solely based on our experience and opinion.

What types of apartments are available?
A studio is one room with a bed or sofa bed and sitting area. Larger apartments provide a separate living room (some have sofa beds) with bedroom or bedrooms and sometimes additional bathrooms.

What about maid service?
Each apartment offers between 1 and 7 days per week maid service, although most provide 5 days. If you should require additional maid service, it is normally available at an extra cost. Beds are always made ready for your arrival (except sofa beds) and fresh towels are provided. The regularity of linen and towel changes depends again on the property concerned, but it is never less than once per week. For an extra charge additional service can always be provided.

What other facilities are provided?
Some properties have car parking facilities available at an extra cost and a café / restaurant (in certain cases, these may be a short walk away). In addition, many properties have a gym or leisure centre and provide business services. Laundry facilities vary, a number of properties have washing machines in each apartment, others have a laundry room, or laundry and dry cleaning service at extra cost. Dishwashers and microwave ovens are now provided in many apartments. All apartments have direct dial telephones and most have broadband internet access. Each apartment has colour television and a large number offer cable or satellite programmes. Radio and CD players are also frequently provided.

Are concierge services available?
Many properties can organise theatre tickets, tours, restaurant reservations, car hire and will give advice about your visit. Front desk and concierge services at apartments throughout the world vary greatly from 24 hours a day to those that are only open during weekdays. That is why it is essential when you make your booking that you advise us of your arrival details.

What happens when I arrive at the accommodation?
Please note that properties have different check-in times and where possible you will be given keys immediately, but you will appreciate that sometimes apartments will not be ready until check-in time. Almost all properties will look after your luggage if you are unable to gain access immediately. If you want guaranteed access to your apartment earlier than check-in time, it would be necessary for you to pay for the previous night.
